The Mahalakshmi Sugar Mill situated in Godaita Municipality in the southern piece of Sarlahi has shut down for the year without paying its farmers.
Administrative Manager Birendra Kumar Shrivastav report that the factory, what began handling sugarcane from December 20, shut down for the remainder of this Nepali year in the wake of preparing 890,000 quintals of sugarcane. Yet the ranchers have not been paid their dues.
Farmers revealed to The Rising Nepal that the plant just paid for the sugarcane prepared in the initial five days. Shrivastav said that the cycle to clear the excess duty would start in a couple of days Godaita Municipality Mayor Devendra Yadav educated that the ranchers would be compelled to arrange a dissent against the plant like a year ago if the installments were not cleared soon. "We have likewise cautioned the plant proprietors," he said.
Yadav said that Mahalaxmi had additionally brought sugarcane from India. "The industrial facility had cash to purchase sugarcane from India
but not to pay us," the local farmer complained.
