A rhino and a tiger were discovered dead at Chitwan National Park (CNP) recently.An assessed 30-year-old male rhinoceros was discovered dead on Calcutta Island on the Sehari Narayani River in the center zone under the western area (Amaltari) of CNP on Saturday. As per Lokendra Adhikari, data official of CNP, the rhino may have passed on subsequent to being harmed in a battle between the two males.The horns of the rhinoceros are protected, authorities said.
Alongside the new demise, 26 rhinoceroses have passed on in financial year 2077/78, of which 22 kicked the bucket because of common causes. Four of them were executed by poachers. Meanwhile, a four-year-old Bengal tiger has been discovered dead in the Chaparchuli Khahare Khola territory of the Sauraha area of Nikunj. According to the recreation center, the tiger kicked the bucket because of characteristic causes. It was the main tiger to pass on because of a characteristic case in 2077 BS, said Adhikari.
